Drawing workshop & Beach Clean
Thursday 29th October 2026
9.30am
Meeting at Gabriels Wharf, SE1 9PP
Join Artist in Residence, Alice Angus, working with Southbank and Waterloo Sustains us, for a hands-on beach clean of the Thames foreshore with Recorra to help remove litter from the river’s edge. Afterwards, we’ll come to Topolski Studio to channel our experience into a reportage drawing workshop inspired by the shared experience, the items collected, and our hopes for a cleaner brighter future for the river.
There will be a chance to sign up for a longer drawing project.
This is a free event, but booking is essential
Please note that participation in the beach clean is limited to adults. We ask that you dress for the weather and wear comfortable closed-toe shoes. Gloves, litter pickers, and all equipment for both the clean-up and creative workshop will be provided. No experience of drawing necessary!
